Georgia-born and Mississippi-raised, I am an Ole Miss graduate (#hottytoddy) and Tampa transplant with a background in public policy, broadcast journalism and public relations. I landed my first ‘big girl’ job at a local magazine, but somehow ended up in sales. Throughout my career, I have maintained a passion for creating content and sharing stories. I consider writing a hobby, and some of my favorite subjects to cover are beauty, fashion, and travel.

I'm a gal who’s always seen the world through rose-colored glasses. I was born with the “wanderlust gene,” and I’m definitely the daydreaming type. You might say my head is in the clouds and most days, I prefer it that way!

Pistol in Pink is my world where roses bloom; a place where I can share my makeup, style, and destination picks, and everything in between. Life isn’t always diamonds and rosé (major bonus points if you know who I’m quoting), but it truly should be. I try to keep it real around here while also providing an escape from the everyday.
